Storefront visibility

Maintenance mode

Switch between the holding page and the normal storefront without changing code.

Public website

When enabled, Render publishes the holding page and new checkouts are blocked. When disabled, Render rebuilds the normal storefront. Your saved setting applies after Render finishes publishing.

Orders

Workload and timing

Control how order capacity is calculated and how checkout, cooldown and reading delivery timing behave.

Workload values

Follow Up adds the workload of a 3 Card Message reading: Base Reading Workload + three cards. PDF workload is not added to the Follow Up.

Demand states

Completed orders drop to the configured weight as soon as they are delivered, then remain at that weight until the normal cooldown expires. High demand and sold out use separate clear thresholds so the storefront does not flicker between states.

One-per-customer sale protection

For one-per-customer sales only, the server keeps a keyed identifier derived from the customer network address. It is scoped to that exact sale and expires at the earlier of the sale ending or 7 days. Set 0 to disable this additional check.

Timing

The reading send value sets the minimum gap between customer reading completion emails. Finished readings stay In progress and private while queued. Set 0 for immediate delivery.

Security

Magic links and access

Set how long sign-in links remain usable and how long access lasts after a successful sign-in.

Owner access
Customer access

Magic link validity and access duration can be set in minutes, hours, days or weeks. Magic links can be valid for up to 4 weeks. New values apply to links and sessions issued after saving. Existing signed-in sessions keep the expiry they were issued with.

Email

Delivery lock timeout

Control how long a bounced or suppressed email address is blocked before it may be tried again.

Undeliverable email lock

A bounce or suppression remains recorded, but it stops blocking checkout and secure sign-in after this duration. The default is 24 hours. A later Resend delivery event still clears the block immediately.

Owner alerts

New order emails (PurelyMail)

Receive one private email for every new paid, complimentary, manual or Ko-fi order. The email links to Orders; customer questions and private details stay in the dashboard.

Owner notification delivery

Use an address on your approved PurelyMail domain. Changing this won't affect Trustpilot emails.

Checking PurelyMail relay configuration…

Off by default. Only orders placed after enabling are queued. Existing Trustpilot invitations and customer emails are unaffected.

Messages

Unread message email

Choose how long an owner reply can remain unread before the customer receives an email notice.

Unread reply delay

The default is 3 hours. Replies appear in My Account immediately. If the customer opens the conversation before this delay expires, the email notice is cancelled.

Set the maximum number of characters customers can enter across reading details, Follow Up, Contact Me and private Messages.

Reading detail limits are sent with the checkout snapshot. Follow Up, Contact Me and Messages limits are loaded by their customer forms. Every limit is enforced again by the server.

Trustpilot

Review invitation allowance

Manage the Trustpilot invitation allowance and repeat customer timing.

Allowance

The remaining allowance is the source of truth. Each successful customer invitation deducts the saved allowance per invitation value. The current default is 1.00.

Repeat customers

Repeat invitations are held until this many days have passed since the customer's last successful Trustpilot invitation, across orders using the same email address. Default: 7 days.

Quantity limits

Paid, cancelled and shipped Etsy orders are handled by webhooks. The fallback interval is only a safety reconciliation. Website workload is watched privately and Etsy is contacted only when the calculated quantity limits change.
